I recently preached at a worship service at The Little Brown Church near Bear Valley, Wisconsin. I afterward asked some of those chatting over iced tea and cookies if anyone knew where to find the grave of Dr. Bertha Reynolds, the famous doctor from Lone Rock, Wisconsin. She had once hitched a ride with a young barnstorming-daredevil pilot named Charles Lindbergh. I had before the service looked for her grave in the church cemetery but couldn’t find it.
