The race-horse hybrids took off with corn this year. We started shelling this week, and the big surprise was the low, wet ground with shockingly good yields. Long lines and going to the bins are in store for the week ahead. Some have said this is the best corn they’ve ever had. One field of early beans was started over the weekend but most are slowly turning.
