Wonderful week of weather here in east-central Missouri, very warm and sunny which made it ideal for cutting beans. Most have been reporting higher-than-average yields in our area. The only problem is so many fields are really green, but the beans are dry. Looks almost like chopping silage with your combine. A good frost would help that. A few people are spreading fertilizer while some continue to haul in lime while the weather is dry. Big chance of rain this week, but we shall see.
