U.S. corn exports look to hold the No. 1 position globally. Karen Braun, a Zaner Hedge ag market analyst, said corn production figures back that up. Braun said the United States’ “record 3.2 billion bushels (exported) would account for 19.5% of total corn use in 2025-26, the highest share in 25 years.”

Precipitation was variable for the ICIA corn hybrid trials. Pockets in the southeast got better results than ever before while “other pockets in the area couldn’t buy a drop of rain,” said Ryan Budnik, executive director of the Iowa Crop Improvement Association.
