Well, it was a year of good and bad. Crops looked very good. At the beginning of August, it looked like the best I ever had. But then rust and sudden death showed up. Corn averaged 160-180 bu./acres, but with fungicide reached 200-plus for yield. Beans were 55-65 bu./acre. Not my best, but despite diseases, decent yields. Fungicide on corn made a big difference. Hay first-cutting was average, second OK, and third outdid some of my first but had to get made between rains. Pasture was very good all season and into fall.
