We have a couple more weeks to get sweet corn. This week we’re starting to pick the seventh of eight plantings. Overall, it’s been pretty good, but the big variable — an abundance of water in sweet corn during heat stress times — led to some issues. We’re probably going into September to finish hay making. We got 0.2 of an inch of rain last night, so it might be a few days before we can make it back out there to finish. Some soybeans are still flowering; corn is done pollinating. They’re both looking pretty good.
