Farmers are getting close to rolling, but we still need the weather to cooperate. Very little has been done in the immediate area so far, and it’s looking like a lot of corn and beans will be ready at the same time. That’s going to make for a compressed, fast‑moving start once conditions finally open up. It’s easier said than done, but I try to remind myself that harvest is a marathon, not a sprint.
