Nothing new here to report really since last week. To say this crop is finishing rough would be an understatement. I along with many others, I’m sure, visited the Farm Progress Show this week. I’m sure everyone noticed how disease has prematurely killed the crop in the heart of the state. They are dry up that way as well, but more than anything rust and tar spot has taken more than the top off this crop. No different down here other than we have a lot of late crops that are not nearly as far along. Still hoping for a pop-up rain shower to save our crop, however the forecast isn’t calling for anything so far.
