Kansas State University's National Agricultural Biosecurity Center is expanding its role on the front lines of animal disease preparedness with a new U.S. Department of Agriculture grant that will immerse extension professionals in realistic outbreak planning across the central United States.
Biosecurity center secures grant
Personnel at the new National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility are taking every step possible to protect the United States from transboundary, emerging and zoonotic animal diseases. The facility is based in Manhattan, Kansas.
