My husband jokes with me that my brain is always going through the list of “a million ways to die.” Well it is true, since that is the entire premise of veterinary medicine and I do not leave that brain space very often. When I found a dead snake in my hay, my heart dropped and my brain instantly turned to the 297,458th way for my horses to die; botulism.
