Well since my last report, we had to hustle to get all the alfalfa and grass hay cut and baled before we took off for the tractor pull in Rock Valley, Iowa. We sure do feel for them and the loss that was evident in their town.
In mid-June, the Eitmiller’s wheat field was completely underwater due to excessive rains.

Ang Eitemiller cut and baled hay on her Armour, S.D., farm in mid-July. She’s been pleased with the grass hay production they’ve had due to all the rain.
Ang Eitemiller farms with her husband, Chet, and his dad, Chuck, in Charles Mix County. They raise Angus-Piedmontese cattle and grow corn, soybeans, wheat and alfalfa, as well as an extensive garden and sweet corn, which they sell from a stand in Wagner.
