Avondale, AZ August 1, 2016 - Stotz Equipment announced that they reached an agreement to purchase Christiansen Implement’s three Idaho stores earlier this summer. The transaction closed today, as scheduled, and both the name and the ownership have officially changed to Stotz Equipment. Stotz, formerly known as AZ Machinery, AA Equipment and Greenline Equipment, has done its fair share of growing over the last ten years, but this is their first acquisition in over three years. The central Idaho stores are heavily focused on large agriculture, significantly expanding Stotz Equipment’s large agriculture territory. Stotz has some experience in the region, with pre-existing locations in Preston, Idaho and Tremonton, Utah, but these additional locations will give them a greater influence in the evolving northwestern region. As family-owned companies with strong core values and a focus on community involvement, Christiansen and Stotz are a natural fit. Stotz President and CEO, Tom Rosztoczy, expressed, “We are thrilled to have the wonderful people of Christiansen Implement join us on our journey to make life easier for our customers and be the best equipment dealer in the world.” With both parties’ strong history with John Deere and Stotz’s experience successfully purchasing and transitioning new locations, the future is bright.
