The Levash family farms 730 acres; 300 are owned. They do all crop work themselves other than combining. They plant 300 acres of corn. They chop about 100 acres, make snaplage from 60 acres and harvest the rest as high-moisture or dry grain. They also plant 80 acres of soybeans and seed 60 acres of alfalfa with peas and oats to feed heifers and dry cows. The remainder of their land is in production-year alfalfa. All young stock are raised at the farm.
