Around here corn is pretty much all planted, and still about 40% of beans have been planted. We are also very dry. Some corn has sprouted but needs a good rain to continue to grow; the beans that are in the ground are waiting for a rain to sprout, and the grass isn’t growing at the moment. A 2-inch rain would really jump start the crops and give farmers and ranchers some breathing room.
