The spring started out good here. Corn and beans went in good, came up and started growing. Then later June came and got wet. Corn was looking sick. Then July got warm — had plenty of rain in July. Then August came and no rain here till late September. So, the corn here was good, but it could have been really good if we could have got a rain in August. Beans were OK for no rain. Cattle price is out of this world, which is good.
