The Wood River FFA Chapter continues to grow and thrive as one of central Nebraska’s most active programs. With 80 dedicated members, the chapter provides students with countless opportunities to learn, lead and serve through agricultural education and FFA activities.

Wood River FFA was represented by 45 students competing at the District 8 Livestock Judging in Ord, Neb. The senior team placed third overall, and team members who qualified included Madden Brabec, Rylee Codner, Matthew Chaney, Lacie Frear and Hayden Edgren. The junior team of Atley Brabec, Karson Wagoner, Reese Blauhorn, Berkley Strode and Dre Van Winkle placed fourth overall.
