“October hogs traded inside Tuesday’s range for most of the day but fell below Tuesday’s low late in the session and closed lower. We think the technical outlook is slowly improving and the market has a chance to see further gains,” The Hightower Report said. “Cash hogs early this week are strong versus last week and with managed money coming into this week holding a three-ear high in net shorts, short covering could continue to be the theme next week.”
