This compares to the USDA outlook forum’s 94.0 ma and 90.6 ma planted last year.” The Hightower Report said “West-central Brazil is expected to see scattered showers, favorable to early corn development but more rain is needed in southern Brazil and the eastern crop regions. Brazil corn prices are up 23% year to date.”
