CHS Hedging reports that the agricultural markets were lower across the board while the crude oil and Dow were both higher. The May WASDE report is Friday, May 10 at 11 am CT. This will be the USDA’s first estimate for the new crop. The Hightower Report said that Argentina harvest weather has improved which will increase the availability of beans for Argentine crushers. The Argentine workers union strike is still scheduled for tomorrow but isn’t expected to last more than one day. The Hightower Report said that dual weather news of chances for rain earlier next week in the Southwest US Plains and hints of some rains in southern Russia resulted in a pullback today on wheat.
