It’s a gorgeous day. We’re planning to get our Hi-Boy sprayers out prepared to spray our remaining wet spots in fields. While a lot of talk at this time involves speculating how small or large crop yields may measure, it’s certainly going to be extremely variable this year. Wind or extremely hot temperatures would be bad, while damp mornings and 80-degree days would help. It's been pretty quiet since the calendar turned to August. It’s that time when farmers go to demonstrations, get equipment ready and start talking about seed sales and get excited about next season.
