We had two days’ worth of small rain events this week. Soybeans are over 95% harvested. Corn is being harvested at a quick rate. Fall fertilizer applications and fall tillage are progressing well. Soil temps are still too warm for NH3 to be applied. With overnight temps in the mid-20s this weekend, the growing season for gardens is at an end. I did hear of an accident involving a car hitting moving farm equipment nearby. Be careful out there.
