Soybean farmer leaders were in Houston Sept. 24 to present a ceremonial check of soybean checkoff dollars worth $275,000 to The Andersons Inc. for their expansion project at the Port of Houston. Once completed in the first quarter of 2026, the expansion will enable the export of soybean meal from the facility.

Established in 2007, the Soy Transportation Coalition is comprised of fourteen state soybean boards, the American Soybean Association, and the United Soybean Board.
