Communities urged to contact Congress to save North Central RFBC
Blumhagen is urging those who support local, fresh foods and food systems in any of the three states to take the time out to call their U.S. Senators and Representatives and urge that the funding be restored to the North Central RFBC, and the grants, including the Business Builder grants, be paid as promised. FARRMS also has a sample letter if someone would prefer to write to their Congressional Representatives.
“We need as many people as possible to reach out to our members of Congress to advocate for the resumption of funding for the North Central RFBC,” she said.
