Youth turns deer harvest into county-fair lesson
Dane Laufenberg, 14, of Columbus, explains the natural sciences educational display he created for the Dodge County Fair after harvesting his first deer. The Astico Perseverance 4-H Club member researched the doe’s age, created a European mount, and built the display to share what he learned with fairgoers.
