Wisconsin author Jerry Apps was photographed by his son, Steve, in 2013 on his farm in Waushara County. Jerry Apps, one of the state’s most prolific storytellers, died Dec. 23. He was 91.
Beloved author and historian Jerry Apps wrote over 65 books throughout his long career. Three were released this year and another is set for publication in April. Apps died Tuesday. He was 91.
In 2017, Jerry Apps collaborated with his daughter, Susan Apps-Bodilly, on a book on old recipes, menus and memories.
