Brendan Bryce of Lowry, Minn., won a percentage Simmental heifer through the Minnesota Youth Beef Experience Program. In his quarterly reports, he discusses how his heifer is doing, what feed she’s consuming, and whether or not she’s been bred.
Aubree Paplow of Springfield, Minn., grew up around the beef industry before getting involved in the Minnesota Youth Beef Experience Program. She hadn’t owned an animal, so she took the plunge.
