Tim Brunner’s heifers are getting ready to calve with an anticipated March start date for the herd.
FAIRFIELD, Mont. – The last couple weeks have brought extreme weather swings to the Brunner ranch, from -36 degrees overnight on Jan. 12 up to 56 degrees and sunny during the day on Jan. 29. The unpredictable weather pattern has Tim Brunner and many other ranchers worried.
