Things are extremely dry in nearly all our county. Corn planting is mostly complete with several acres of beans planted. Emerged corn has somewhat sporadic stands due to inconsistent furrow moisture. Due to spotty showers, applied residual chemicals may be in danger of good control. Pasture production is poor due to dryness.
