Prior to 2024, there was no agricultural education program or FFA chapter at Brady Public Schools. In my first-year teaching, there were quite a few students and community members who would express their desire to get a program started. We looked into what it would take to start, had meetings with several members at Nebraska FFA and University of Nebraska Lincoln to understand requirements, and began the process of starting a chapter. We officially became a Nebraska FFA chapter on July 7, 2024.
