Cash trade has been slower this week following last week’s strength.” The Hightower Report said, “Blizzard conditions across the central Plains this week resulted in a slowdown at slaughter plants and supported futures prices yesterday. Dry conditions are expected to quickly return to the Plains over the next week at least. Boxed beef prices shot higher yesterday as well.”
