“Delayed U.S. harvest activity and weaker crop conditions have provided support to corn prices,” Total Farm Marketing said. “As of Oct. 4, 23% of the U.S. corn crop had been harvested, below the five-year average of 27% and the 26% expected by analysts, as heavy Midwest rainfall slowed fieldwork.”
