Another hot, humid week here in northeastern Illinois. Last weekend we had 0.5-2 inches of rain locally. However, just a little north Milwaukee had 6 inches to 14 inches of rain — major flooding. The Wisconsin State Fair closed down days early due to flooded fairgrounds. Corn and soybeans are looking good. No predictions on yields or harvest dates yet. Lots of combines, grain platforms and corn heads are being serviced and prepped.
