We are at the point on this adventure that I have no clue what day it is and it’s sometimes a toss-up if I can tell you what country we are touring.

About
Jaclyn Wilson raises Red Angus cattle at Wilson Ranch near Lakeside, Nebraska. Send comments to her at jaclyn@flyingdiamondgenetics.com."Kenya will definitely go down as a highlight, between seeing the wildlife, entrepreneurship and meeting some amazing individuals that are operating businesses where community social impact is a huge part of their business dynamics."
"Herds have tribe members with them throughout the day, guiding them on foot to new grazing areas. Docility is stellar."
"Japan food was interesting. Most I could identify, some I could not. My chopstick skills continued to increase."
"My heart hurts for so many across our great state this week that have lost so much in the wildfires. I can’t even imagine the pain, frustration and despair that so many feel right now."
There’s not much more that screams mental health day than five women, some dressed up in Goodwill rejects, getting into a metal stock tank in below freezing temperatures to head down the river in their hippy van stock tank with peace banners flying and Bob Marley playing.
"I was impressed with the overall quality and found one bull that I would not have minded bringing back to Nebraska. Considering I swore I’d never buy bulls again, that’s a big statement."
From international travel to remodels at home, Jaclyn provides an update on some of the projects that keep her spinning.
"By the Product of USA label standards, we have all the pieces in place and can voluntarily label our product Product of Nebraska, which we did. ... I think it looks cool on a label."
