Along with America’s milestone birthday this summer, lovers of Targhee sheep celebrated some big anniversaries for this all American breed.

Jeff Keyser of Gilford, N.H., grooms a Targhee for open show. He traveled with his sheep for three hot days to get to the national show in Huron, hoping to pick up a new breeding ram for his flock at Ramblin' Vewe Farm.
