With cattle inventory down and beef prices up, will consumers start choosing other proteins such as chicken or pork over beef?
Duane Lenz, former analyst with Cattlefax, said with the high price of beef, some supermarkets may start featuring chicken or pork on the front of the advertising flyers. This flier for the first week of January 2024 does just that.
