According to the USDA, 17 counties across Montana are considered “critically underserved” when it comes to veterinarian professionals. While that may seem staggering on paper, the impact is even more significant to the farmers and ranchers who struggle to find veterinary care for their livestock and the shortage perhaps is most deeply felt by the large and mixed-animal practice veterinarians who chose to service Montana.
