Since my last article, our ranch has received little rain, and temperatures have been in the 90s. The grass is still, surprisingly, very green. We’ve had just enough moisture to keep it that way.
Fall calving is about 90% done at the Seberger Ranch near Bassett, Neb. Twins can mean extra income, but extra work.
