A 300-acre regional industrial campus a half hour west of the capital city is adding another major piece: a $186 million milk processing facility that will employ about 70 workers.
The Dari Processing facility that is being built in Seward County will eventually process 1.8 million pounds of raw milk a day, which translates to about 210,000 gallons.
Speakers at the groundbreaking ceremony Wednesday take a swig of Dari high-protein milk product, Moo’v, which is among products to be processed and packaged at a new Seward County plant.
