Many hands make light work. Generous people in Henderson, Nebraska, are putting this saying into action in a time-honored community service project that centers on charity and fighting food insecurity.

Meat processing takes place inside a mobile cannery, which will travel to 27 sites this year from October through April.
About 8,000 pounds of chicken can be processed in 10 hours, amounting to about 26,000 pounds being processed in Henderson, Neb.
