Contracts were up 4 to 6 cents across most months.” Amanda Brill at Total Farm Marketing said, “Estimates for today’s export sales report see corn sales in a range between 700k and 1,500k tons with an average guess of 1,000k tons. This would compare to 1,338k last week and 335k tons a year ago.” The Hightower Report said, “Brazil forecasters are reporting moisture levels are at a 6-year low or worse in surrounding states in Brazil outside Mato Grosso. Pollination is on the doorstep in many areas in Brazil and the precipitation will need to be watched closely as the dry season looms just ahead.”
