Matt Powell, NDCUC District 2 board member, said that planting conditions have been nearly ideal for him this spring. He started planting corn on April 2.
“The ground conditions are perfect. The bad part is the ground is a little cold, so the last 7-8 days guys have been really ripping in good conditions. Other than that, I hope everybody has a safe and happy spring and thank you for putting in a nice big corn crop,” Powell said.
