Fire safety when baling hay
Angie Johnson, NDSU, helps a teen going through one of their Youth Farm Safety Camps to safely hook up the baler to the tractor. Later, each young participant baled their own bale of hay. When cutting and baling hay in dry conditions, Johnson said just hitting a rock could spark a large fire.
