The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources Ranger Station in Washburn stands along Wisconsin Highway 13 in spring sunlight. Annual burn permits are required in WDNR Forest Fire Protection areas. They can be obtained online at DNR.wi.gov – search for fire – and also in person at ranger stations.
