Canola market prices and oil seed prices in general have been in the winter doldrums lately, according to Barry Coleman, executive director of the Northern Canola Growers Association. However prices have shown a slight improvement in the last couple days. Future prices had been hovering around the support level of $480 a ton for the past several days, but on Jan. 8 improved to $483 a ton, he noted.
