MADISON, Wis. – Environmental regulations can be confusing. And many small businesses such as farms and agribusinesses don’t have the resources to dedicate an employee to stay abreast of changing regulations. That’s where the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources can help. Its Small Business Environmental Assistance Program is a non-regulatory part of the agency and interactions are kept confidential, said Jennifer Feyerherm, the program’s coordinator.
