I recently attended the funeral of my cousin Francis “Mac” McDonough, at the United Methodist Church in Lime Ridge, Wisconsin. I had served briefly there as an interim pastor in 2014. The church was packed for the funeral service. Our voices swelled upward to the heavens as we sang the old favorites – “In The Garden” and “How Great Thou Art.”
