SPIRITWOOD, ND – The progress of a new soybean crushing plant at Spiritwood, ND, is moving forward, matching the pace of including soybeans in crop rotations within the state. To meet that growing supply, plans call for a soybean crushing facility to join the Spiritwood Energy Park Association (SEPA) and become a neighbor with three other value-added facilities.

Value added industries already on that site include the Dakota Spirit AgEnergy ethanol plant, Cargill’s malting barley plant and Great River Energy’s Spiritwood Station coal-fired generating plant.
