Temperatures heated up this week in the upper 80s with a lot of sunshine. Things are getting dry since we haven’t had any rain in a few weeks, which for the crops doesn’t matter at this point, but the pastures could use some last-minute growth going into fall. Harvest is in full swing with the corn being dry and ground conditions ideal. Corn yields around the area have been great. No beans have been cut yet but several are getting close.
