Much-needed rains showed up this week, some in overabundance. Heavy storms did a number to many wheat/rye fields in the area. Harvest is going to be challenging for some. Growth-regulated crops are starting to springboard back up, though. Corn and soybeans are thriving with the drink. Weather aiding in emergence or overall growth. Corn is pushing V-9 in places, and soybeans are becoming lush with trifoliates. We are sure to see some haying resume this coming week as the extended forecast looks drier. There is no major flooding to report at this time.
