Members of the Sustainable Beef board of directors and their families joined in the excitement of cutting the ribbon for the plant on March 24, signifying a new era in beef processing in Nebraska
Trey Wasserburger, Sustainable Beef board member, noted how investors and board members looked toward the future and their families when organizing for plant construction.
A serpentine route designed to safely and humanely move cattle from the holding pens to the knock box (harvesting space) will be utilized at Sustainable Beef.

The pallet room has space for 1,700 pallets or about 40,000 boxes of beef.
